  1. Our militarized server has recently received a wipe and map change. Along with that, there have been quite a few mod changes and the introduction of reserved slots. Default Arma lobby ** This will allow for reserved slots in the future. - Custom load screen messages ** More on this later. - Headless Client fixes and offloading Map Edits: - Trader locations will be mostly the same. Bash will be moved. Still playing with the location. - Block zones adjusted for 2035 ** Block zones will be visible for the first few days after the wipe to aid in base location selection. - Map de-cluttered ** Includes wrecks, certain bushes, grass, debris. - All traders and spawned buildings will be added to the map itself it prevents load time issues.
  2. Summer is officially here, and so is our overhauled survival server! Below are the changes that were implemented: - Added new player build-able structures: 6 new Hero/Bandit custom made structures to replace the old housing system - Added small garage - Added large garage - Added boat house - Added Our own base building system: No more flags or territory radius, houses can be built anywhere on the map. If you can place the cement mixer it is legal to build there. So you can have a group of houses in different locations around the map or on different islands. - Added a new family system: Territory and family are now one thing, you need a family to be able to build houses. - Added our new family ranking system: "Family Member" they are part of the family but do not have build rights and can't build near other family members. - Removed base payments to keep your buildings on the server. To keep your houses/base objects from despawning ANYONE in your family has to login once every two weeks to keep all walls from despawning. ANYONE in your family has to open the front door and access the gear of your house to keep the structure from despawning once every two weeks If you are actively playing then you are good to go! - Added 50 new custom made models for the all the stages to build up to the final stage of all the base buildables - Added new Vehicle spawn system similar to old dayzmod, vehicles will spawn in predefined locations. So if you find that vodnik inside of a barn as a fresh spawn, that is one of the possible locations for a vodnik to spawn at. - Added throwing knives that can kill zombies or players - Added functional melee weapons now kill zombies and players - Added our new custom Humanity system Hero, Survivor, Bandit Everyone stats as a Survivor and from whatever actions you do in game, you can gain or loss humanity and become a Bandit or a Hero each will have 3 levels for now - Added more maps around the island, redone loot tables. - Added our own Helicrash system: Unlike the old system, a heli will now fly around and will crash creating an actual crash site. If you see it flying before it has already crashed, you can shoot it down resulting in the same thing. This will happen 1 time every 30 minutes throughout the reset. - Added our own Airdrop system: A Huron will now fly around the map and drop a supply crate of loot in predefined "random" locations. You can also shoot down this down as well but the loot CAN be destroyed depending on the height of the chopper. This will happen 1 time every 30 minutes throughout the reset. - Updated Mission System: No more empty fields and lazy targets, missions will now be in towns and harder difficulty. We can always tweak this. - Added our own Barter system: New traders with predefined inventories will have random items each restart you can trade for. You can also use our MarXet player driven system to create a custom offer for other players to acquire your item by trading other in game items in return. - Major Overhaul! Our New Medical System: Player damage is completely overhauled from head to toe. Unlike the current system where getting shot in the foot or arm does the same damage as any other body part, different body parts will actually take different damage based on bullet caliber. You will no longer die in one hit with a 9mm shot to the hand like in the old exile system. It will feel a bit different and new but we think more balanced than before, be sure to give us feedback on this. - Medical Items: - Players have a chance to bleed from taking any damage, bandages stop bleeding. - Players have a chance be in pain from ONLY taking bullet damage from both players and AI, painkillers stops the pain. Your pain intensity can be higher/lower depending on the bullet caliber your shot with. - Players will always lose blood from getting shot by players or AI, falling, hit by a zombie etc, Blood bags will heal you over a short time period. - Players have a chance to break their legs from taking bullet damage from the waste down and fall damage. When you have broken legs, your character will now limp instead of going prone and crawling like in the very old dayz days. Morphine can be used to temporarily allow you to run for a limited amount of time, a splint will fully heal your legs. - Medical Humanity System: Any medical action performed on any other player will result in positive humanity no matter if your a hero or bandit. - Player Endurance: We have added a new variable to player health called endurance. Your endurance level will decrease temporarily as you take bullet damage ONLY from other players not AI. If you take bullet damage but survive the event, the next shots you get hit with will pack more of a punch resulting in a faster time to kill for the shooter even if you healed yourself to max blood and are a wearing body armor/helmet. This is similar to the body armor durability system in PUBG except, your endurance will go back up to full overtime. So if get shot and take heavy damage but successfully ran away from the event, your endurance will build back up to full and not stay at a low amount forever unlike armor in PUBG/DayZ. If you get shot again that of course will cancel the timer and again lower your endurance should you survive the shot. A broken shield icon will now appear on your hud to show your endurance level. When you do not see the icon that means your endurance is at its highest level. As you take bullet damage the shield icon will become more visible on screen all the way to full opacity when you've reached the lowest endurance level. The opacity then will then decrease overtime back to being fully invisible as your endurance increases. - Gradual Healing: To make the medical system run and feel more smooth and not have players kill themselves due to a medical event, your blood, pain, broken legs and player endurance will all heal slowly overtime. This will happen faster if you are above 70% food/drink. If you can't find whatever items you need, you don't suffer forever like in the old dayz days where you're screwed if you break your leg. Your penalized at first but then redeemed over time. Removed: - Old Wood walls - Glitched Reinforced walls - Wood Roofs - Old houses - Super Crate - Territory flags - Wood Gates - Wood Ramp - Wood Window - Respect - Poptabs

So as you guys know by now, yes we are developing a new map inspired by Taviana. The name of the map will be: "Vissarion". a. This map will feature 2 slightly different variants, one for our survival project - Genesis - and another for your Militarized server, a little "cleaner" with a theme more accustomed for the game style. b. This upcoming week we'll start releasing a few videos about the map development progress, as well as a public trello where you will be able to follow the development closely. 2. We will also release some video footage hilighting new features of the Genesis Patch 3. We are also working on the militarized server on a development branch ( Updating scripts, new features, new AI system, more FPS (FPS for days), as well as a dedicated AWGmod for it, that will bring fixes to Exile and introduce a bunch of new goodies. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ FAQ: Q: When will the new Genesis patch hit? A: We don't have a set date, maybe weeks, maybe less, maybe more. Right now 3 people are developing (Scripting part) and others are creating new models/vehicles etc. You will be able though, as we test more and more features, to watch videos about what's about to come and how it will work. Q: When is the map going to release? A: The map process is a little bit slower, we have 2/3 people who are actively working on it, and it's no easy task. The eta is very unsure because of how big this project is, but we are attracting new helpers for this project, so maybe this will speed up the development. Q: When is the militarized server updating? A: As per the mili server, we have 2 devs working on it right now, and as soon as it is good you will know. (It might take a little while just because of the mod adjustments we are doing).   8. Ususally this is a result of a dependency. What you should do is unscubscribe from NIArsinal and then re-download the mod. You can also verify integrity of your game files. (Right click the game in library -> Properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game files.
  9. yeah this is a known dayz bug. Pretty much all the snipers have this visual bug, seems to be a network error.
  10. The AWG Arma 3 Survival server is back! We have relaunched our AWG A3 Survival server! Our last survival server was the outcome of years of updates, bug fixes and changes. It was buggy, hard to update, and impossible to maintain. We now have a clean, less buggy, more maintainable and update friendly server. But, that's not what you came to read, you want the juicy stuff. We've been working hard these last few months, enjoy. Changelog ADDED Chernarus 2035 Extended We have full source files and are working on new towns and cities to expand the map. Along with server updates, we will be updating the map to provide new and exciting places to explore New Base Building System Taking inspiration from DayZ and DayZ Origins, we have revamped the building system in Exile to allow for pre-fab objects that can be built and upgraded. Currently, there are buildable shelters, walls, and towers. We plan on adding upgradable walls, a wider range in towers, and base objects for you to play with in later updates. Pickaxes and Mining Part of the base building system, you can now go to a mine and to gather rocks and ores. There are currently two mines on the map marked by a huge digger. Perk/Skill System With everything you do on the server, you will gain a bit of exp to use how you wish. Some skills include: faster repairing, better healing on self first-aid and more! Heli Crashes with Persistent Loot One highly requested feature, heli crashes are now scattered across Chernarus. They can be easily located by black smoke and have loot scattered around the crash in close proximity. These will be a prized target as some weapons and other rare loot will only be found at these crashes. Humanity System A unique twist off of the DayZ Mod humanity system, when you first join our server, you will choose the class you wish to be: a hero, survivor or bandit. Each have their own set of benefits, but choose wisely, it will cost to change it later. MarXet v2 MarXet has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, just for AWG. - Buying and Selling has been replaced with Trading. - Trading allows you and other players to list an item in turn for other items. Want to set up a deal? Enable your name to be shown and players can haggle with you so you can get the best deal possible. - A new way to trade: Auction House - You and other players can list items to be bid on, but be vigilant, you can easily be out bidded. Register with Exile Server Manager to be notified so you can win the bidding war! - You can now edit and delete trades and listings - Any items that can't fit in your inventory will be deposited into your SafeX. Zombie Spawner We now have a custom Zombie Spawner! Zombies now spawn in houses and are more common in towns, and less common in the open. Each house has a cooldown of 5 minutes, so your gang can clear a town and get all the loot before they spawn back. Boats! Along with 8+ islands for you to explore, boats now spawn randomly along the coast in shallow water. Since we have a new map, no more janky water! Zombie Kill Tracking A minor addition, we now track total lifetime and current life zombie kills. Now you can boast to your friends... Even more than you already did. CHANGED - Military missions are now guarded by AIs, it's no longer first to the crate gets the loot. - SafeX has been updated to allow MarXet to deposit items. - Added into to XM8 about Exile Server Manager and how to be notified of base raiding.

  12. We are happy to announce that AWG is the #1 DayZ Standalone server on Battlemetrics! This is a big deal! The game is iffy, at best, but we are still seeing 200+ new unique users daily and a total of 5007 unique users as of the time of this writing. This is an amazing achievement by our staff / developers. The developers have been able to communicate with Bohemia directly to report crashes, in order to help find root causes, as well as network and build relationships with other modders and communities in order to make DayZ Standalone an enjoyable experience by everyone! With that, I am happy to announce that we will be opening up a 2nd server within the next 24 hrs. The new server will be a winterized version of the same map you know and love.   17. General Rules: No hacking, exploiting, duping, or glitching of any form. Failure to report any of the aforementioned can be held against you. Admins can only have access to their menu when [AWG] is in front of their name. Accusing an admin otherwise of abuse can result in punishment. Portrayal of an admin will result in extreme punishment. Any form of DDoS and or hack threat to the server or its users is an instant permanent ban. All jokes are included. All reports of players, compensation requests, or general help requests, must be in the form of a ticket on the discord. When made, fill out the prompted information and wait patiently for a staff member to respond. Videos are always required, and must show 3 minutes prior to the incident, and 3 minutes after. Any form of edited video will not be accepted. Screen shots are never accepted unless an admin requests them. No combat logging, you are in combat as long as the red icon is flashing on your screen, and ~30 seconds after shooting. Admin discretion will be used at the time of the accusation. Moving a storage item and or accessing it ~10 minutes to restart can have persistence issues, do at your own risk. Most warnings will come in the form of a kick from the server, anything lost due to those kicks will not be compensated. Deceitfully baiting a player into breaking a rule is not allowed. Admin discretion will be used at the time of the accusation. Side Chat Rules: English only in side chat. Claims of players hacking, glitching, or breaking rules without proof to back up the claims, can result in punishment. Trader Rules: Any form of trolling in safe zone is not tolerated. (Mic Spamming, vehicle ramming, disrupting play time, etc.) Camping safe trader zones is prohibited. Killing close to trader can be deemed trader camping, use wise judgement. Admin discretion will be used at the time of accusation. Spotting people inside safe zone is not allowed. Watching players leave to later kill is not allowed. Admin discretion will be used at the time of accusation. Fleeing to a safe zone in combat is not allowed. Both parties must have ended the engagement first. No excuses will be tolerated. Do not attempt to steal or damage any other player’s belongings. Blocking the pathway to the trader is not allowed. Exploiting the trader in any way to gain profit and or respect, is not allowed.\ Buying excessive amounts of vehicles to create lag or clog up the trader is not allowed. Do not hover or leave helis on while in the trader. Land and power down or leave. Vehicle Ownership: If your vehicle is stolen outside of trader, it is no longer yours. The driver is the owner of the vehicle once in the trader (if no other players are in the vehicle). If you lock the stolen vehicle in trader, locking the owner in or out, will result in punishment. If the vehicle is towed by the previous owner, the player will be subject to punishment. **** If a vehicle has occupants still inside, they have the ability to switch to the driver, and gain ownership. **** UAVs are use at your own risk. They are easily stolen, and buggy. Building Rules: If you are unsure about a base locations legality, ask staff in discord via a ticket, and you will be assisted. Your group can only have one base. If caught with more, all territories shared will be deleted without warning. Terms of sharing are as followed: Having access to codes, and or storing friend’s vehicles. Combat storing vehicles is not allowed. Violation will result in ban and deletion of vehicle. Your base must be able to access all rooms by using doors or gates, including the flag room. Removing buildables to gain entry, or block entry, is not allowed ever... Your base must have stairs or ladders leading up to each floor. That ladder has to work both ways (up and down) or have a door. You can not use a ladder to climb through a floor. All flags must be able to be stolen, if your flag is inside an object, it will be removed without prior warning. Flag rooms must allow for the player to freely walk around it without obstruction, any tight spaces and or attempt to further obstruct is not allowed. Safes cannot be touching a flag in any way and must be far out of the way. All parts are subject to removal, and or moval, by staff. All rooms cannot consist of multiple doors clipping into one another, and walls overlapping each other. Layering walls and doors is ok. No building within 1600m of any Rad Zone. (Includes base pieces within 1600 meters.) No building within 1000m of an airfield, trader zone, spawn zone, non-safe trader zone, and barracks. (Includes base pieces within 1000 meters.) No building on roads. An overhang over a road is allowed, but a ural must be able to travel under your structure. You will not be refunded if a staff member intentionally removes your territory. Bases can only be 50m tall, do not circumvent the script to build higher. Vehicles on or in a base cannot be enclosed, They must be vulnerable to the front and top. Bases with a line of sight and elevated shooting positions are NOT to fire on spawn towns from vehicles. People caught abusing this will lose the vehicle and respect. Using indestructible objects to protect flags, and or rooms is punishable. If you forget to pay your territory or fail to restore it, it will despawn. You have 2 days to contact staff to have it reinstated. Each group gets one free restore, the rest will have a fee. All storage items have to be visible, if completely hidden inside objects, they will be deleted. All base limits are measured from the center of the circle. Base crates are not meant for permanent storage. They damage easily and like to fly away. IF you decide to risk keeping them, you must place inside your territory radius and install. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. (no comp will be given for lost crates) Raiding Rules: Upon raiding a base, any form of exploitation, via looking through walls and or using any sort of glitch to gain an unfair advantage, will result in punishment. Admin’s discretion will be used at the time of the accusation. During the raid, you cannot Build, place locks, walls, or in any way obstruct the raider from further advancing. A raid is only over after 15 minutes of inactive combat or 15 minutes after a server restart with no combat. Trying to place parts earlier can result in punishment. Ensure the area is secure. If a player is camping and causing no harm, he is not a threat. Ensure you keep the fight going. Alts can not be used to log out in flag rooms, severe punishment will ensue. Although we do our best to help in anyway possible, we cannot be responsible for the following acts. If the player logs out at rad zone, or safe zone objects, their items cannot be compensated if they re log too quickly. The objects need time to load. Any form of client-side crash, corrupted mods, and or connection issues, will not be compensated. If a player dies whilst in the safe zone boundaries, it is not on us. Approach them with caution and proceed as if you did not have god mode. If you complete a ZCP, you must store the tabs afterwards, if not they will be gone upon a restart or a disconnection from the server. Un towing a vehicle while it is clipping an object or the ground is non-refundable. Ensure there is ample room with no obstructions. Admins will not locate or unlock any safe for you, it is on the player to keep track of their belongings. Landing on concrete and or wooden parts is at your own risk. Exile parts can be buggy and explode vehicles. Any base parts deleted deemed illegal by an admin are not subject to compensation. ** THESE RULES ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS AND MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME. PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN TO MAKE SURE NOTHING HAS CHANGED **
  18. Status Update The server is approaching end of development for the post-wipe release. We're sorry about the inconvenience but this map update was the factor that forced us to wipe and caught us off guard. Unfortunately we were behind schedule (thanks IRL). In the next few days we'll be releasing the full changelog that will show all the effective changes coming in game. The reason why we haven't just wiped and updated was because we had to fix some issues and change some mods. We are changing mods for various reasons: 1) To apply for monetization once we are ready in order to have reserved slots (Reserved slots at the server release will be only used by Staff and Streamer/Youtubers 2) To "lighten" the load on the server and players (There's no need for 20GB+ of mods since we're not using most of their content ) 3) Compatibility between items/weapons/attachments/ammo 4) To be able to have more custom content In the meantime our team has expanded. Our recent honorable mentions: @Genesis92x - He's the creator of VCOM AIs, a well known state-of-the-art AI Module for Arma 3. He is currently working on our new Zombie Module. (And AI module in the future) @maxjoiner - An Italian fellow who's been creating Arma 3 mods since modding has been introduced in the Arma series. He has provided us with unique 3D models of zombies, that no other community has. @Cloud - He's the owner of another Arma 3 exile community, militarized, and he's been helping us on the optimization side-of-things. Thanks to him we'll have GIGAFPS As per our other long time devs we have to mention: @Bryan - who is cooking up a new MarXet just for us. This new player market will have a barter and auction system. You will be able to trade items/vehicles for other items, and have an auction house where players will bid on items with poptabs. @Andrew - who has been helping updating the community mod, adding new content and implementing features like SafeX ™ and more. I also wanna thank some the @Admin s and @Head Admin s who are helping balancing the new loot on the server and working along with me in this painful nit-picking process. Now the questions: When is the server coming back? - Saturday Sept 15th. At what time? Not sure yet, but anytime during Saturday. What's new about the server? As I mentioned before, we'll release a changelog a few hours prior to the server release. In terms of the features I have mentioned above, Zombies and new MarXet are coming soon ™ after the server will be released, since those are quite complicated to code and need extensive testing. What else is new? Well as you have read today, DayZ SA is going to be releasing server files next week, so definitely expect us to get on board with it. - We might expand the team further in order to get on the DayZ train. Hopefully with the server files release, we'll be able to bring the cool AWG ™ experience on the new platform, making DayZ a pleasant game to play.   19. Attention please! Attention please! Attention please! This weekend we are bringing up our main Test server for the 0.8 patch. The test server will be up for a week for a few selected people (60 to be exact) to help us test everything, catch the last few bugs and make sure everything is working properly. We need a team of dedicated people to test thoroughly every aspect of the new patch. By helping us testing, you will also receive an in-game reward once the patch is out (As well as a reserved slot for a month) on either the 3rd person server or the 1st person one.   23. The wait is finally over.... due to popular demand we have opened up a 2nd survival server! Utilizing the brand new Panthera map, our player base is sure to have a good time scavenging the mountains, commuting to the islands, and surviving among 50+ other players. (Located HERE or A3Launcher) We are excited that the exile developers chose our community for testing and this will GREATLY help them move forward for their upcoming Exile 1.0.4 release!
